It provides an element of fun to the alcohol and drug rehab process and teaches essential coping skills.

Getting Back To Work..

Our clinical staff, in cooperation with Employee Assistance Programs, will work to develope a comprehensive occupational rehabilitation program to assist patients to return to work. We believe that an individual’s long term sobriety is based, in part, in their ability to obtain meaningful employment.

Family Outreach

Family involvement in the rehab process is critical for the success of long term recovery and abstinence from mind and mood altering substances. We encourage family members to attend and participate in our weekly Family Focus Meetings as well as visiting their loved ones during our visitation hours. We offer an intensive drug and alcohol treatment education program for family members of patients and is designed to help family members learn about the disease of chemical dependency so they may be better equipped to offer positive support for their loved one. Famlies are encouraged to join us for our Family Focus group on Saturday morning from 10AM to 12PM.

Men’s Drug Addiction & Alcoholism Treatment Philosophy

The Pathway to Recovery men’s drug and alcohol treatment facility offers intensive residential (RTC), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and supportive outpatient (SOP), as well as unlimited aftercare for drug addiction and alcoholism. Our men’s recovery program provides long-term recovery for adult men who are dependent on alcohol, illegal drugs, or prescription medication including benzodiazepines such as Xanax®, Valium®, and Klonopin®. We also accept dual diagnosed patients.

Our Texas Drug & Alcohol Treatment program is designed by our Clinical Staff including a Medical Director and Chemical Dependency Counselors, based on an assessment of individual needs. Our focus is on the client, family, and a successful recovery experience.

Individuals affected by drug addiction and alcoholism know that their life is out of control, and that addiction has rendered them unable to maintain control over mood-altering substances. They have become victims of a compulsive disorder and an uncontrollable dependency on chemicals which inevitably destroys their lives.

At Pathway to Recovery, we know that drug addiction and alcoholism affects the entire family. For the family and the addicted family member, life begins to deteriorate as social relationships weaken, children are neglected or abused, jobs are in jeopardy or are lost, finances are in disarray, and in some cases, hospitalization or legal problems occur. Addiction becomes a reality when the use of alcohol or other drugs interferes with the person’s health, family, job, or social life—when one or more aspects of life become unmanageable as a result of chemical dependency. However, effective drug addiction and alcoholism treatment is available for both the addict and their family.

Pathway to Recovery is licensed by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services to provide inpatient and outpatient treatment in Texas.
